It’s all too easy to assume that the insulation within your loft space area or attic will be sufficient to stop heat loss from the home. However in older properties this may not necessarily be the case. “If you live in an older property, do bear in mind that the thickness of your thermal installation may not meet today’s standards. New builds feature an insulation depth of 250 mm wadding and in our experience we have found many older properties with just 100 mm.
